Privacy

Last updated 2 November 2026.

RunBestie is entertainment for adults in Australia. It is not relationship, legal, medical, or psychological advice. This page is how we handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

RunBestie is run by Edison Crisostomo. Contact us at your-emc.ai.studio@gmail.com.

Both your names removed

Before a scan is sent, your browser replaces both participants' names (the full name, the first name, and display names from the export header) with You and Them. Phone numbers and email addresses are removed too. Both your names removed. Other people mentioned in the chat may still appear.

Message text, with your names swapped out, is sent to our server and to an AI provider. It is read once to make the report and is not stored. Only the report is kept. Screenshots are read on your device. The words from those screenshots are what gets sent, not the image files.

When a scan uses OpenRouter, AI providers behind it may be overseas, mostly the United States. This environment is using mock, which does not send the chat to OpenRouter.

What else we collect

Sensitive information

A chat can contain sensitive information, including health and sex life, and it can contain other people's messages. Only scan a chat you were part of. Both your names removed does not remove every person who is mentioned.

How long we keep a report

The server keeps the score, the short receipts, the stats, and the cards. It does not keep the transcript. Free teasers are purged after 24 hours. Unlocked reports are purged after 12 months.

Delete a report

Open the report and use Delete my report. That removes it from our database. The share link and card images stop working within a few minutes after delete. You can also email your-emc.ai.studio@gmail.com and ask us to delete it.

Complaints

Email your-emc.ai.studio@gmail.com first and we will try to sort it out. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
